In order to protect your computer from the malicious code, illegal websites and do not want to disclose your private information to the others, then you should be aware of the two terms such as Hackers and hoaxes.
Hackers are the spammers that are really are very deadly for us and our computers. They can easily hack or steal all the crucial data from our valuable accounts. They use the viruses, Trojans, and other web nasties to mess up our computer. The hackers do not indulge in writing the malicious codes or hijack your browser to do some serious harm to your system. They simply send an email without an attachment to make the situation worse. They just have to start a rumor which will attract the lots of Internet users and thus they can begin with hoaxing.

- Hoaxes are the chain letters, scams and false alarms. At best they take up time and bandwidth but at worst can be victims of fraud.
- There are various mails that you must have got such as to scan your hard disk for a particular file. Make sure that you delete them.
- Sometimes you even get mails claiming your lottery or to update your bank information or even some doubtful mails. These are called hoaxes or phishing mails because they are send by the hackers to know your IP addresses or other valuable personal information.
- There are also mails regarding treasure lying unclaimed in a foreign account or asking for the help of child missing emails. It is in this way that the hackers can gain a load of email addresses for various purposes.
- Hoaxes are the emails generated by hackers and spread throughout the internet to get you to delete files you need, thus creating havoc for your system.
- There are various types of hoaxes such as greeting card hoaxes. You will get a greeting card hoaxes which can easily crash up your system.
- These hoaxes can create problems for a reputable company so you should try to delete the greeting cards and do not click them. The Blue Mountain Company received recently another hit from a hoax, because someone falsely used their link in emails to trick people in clicking on it and download some malicious software.
- There are also virus hoax that can bring viruses to your computer if you click on the suspicious links. These are such a kind of emails that will tell the recipient that their computer is infected with a virus and they must delete “such and such a file”. Thus if a person is fooled, a file crucial to their computers operations can be deleted.
- There are many that will try to play on the fear factor and get you to send them your login information to verify your identity as well.
- There are also home hoaxes that require you to pay an amount of money before they reveal their secrets to making money from home but they are fake emails.
Thus we see that how hackers make use of hoaxes to fool the internet users and get their IP addresses and other valuable information. Thus the end result is that your computer system gets messed up with viruses and thus crashes.
